Fresh Guacamole

Method

  1. Slice each avocado lengthwise around the pit, twist the halves to separate them, and remove the pit with a gentle twist of a chef's knife.
  2. Scoop the avocado flesh out of the skins and place into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the avocado immediately to keep it from oxidizing and turning brown.
  4. Mash the avocado using a fork or spoon until you reach your desired chunky or smooth texture.
  5. Finely chop the fresh coriander and add it to the bowl.
  6. Chop the fresh tomatoes and add them to the mixture.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix all the ingredients thoroughly before serving.
