Ingredients

Method

  1. Place the ground beef in a pan without washing it to preserve its flavor.
  2. Add the spice mix to the beef and fry until fully cooked.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, mashed potatoes, and one whole egg.
  4. Knead the mixture using a stand mixer with a hook attachment for up to three minutes.
  5. Add a splash of olive oil during the kneading process.
  6. Knead the dough slightly by hand, wrap it in plastic, and let it rest for at least 20 minutes.
  7. Mix shredded cheese into the cooked ground beef to bind the filling together.
  8. Portion the rested dough and roll each portion into a flat circle.
  9. Place the beef and cheese filling in the middle of the dough circle.
  10. Cover the filling with another piece of dough and seal the edges.
  11. Fry the stuffed pockets in a pan with oil until golden brown on both sides.
