- Cut the white fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.
- Place cornflakes in a tray and crush them into smaller pieces.
- Set up three coating stations: flour, egg wash, and crushed cornflakes.
- Coat the fish pieces in flour, dip into the egg wash, and then coat thoroughly with the crushed cornflakes.
- Line the air fryer with parchment paper, place the fish inside, and spray generously with cooking oil.
- Air fry the fish for 15 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine the Manuka honey, fresh garlic, Thai chili flakes, soy sauce, a small piece of butter, a splash of vinegar, and Kashmiri red chili powder.
- Whisk the sauce ingredients together.
- Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add it to the sauce and cook until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Transfer the cooked fish to a mixing bowl, pour in the hot honey sauce, add toasted sesame seeds, and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve garnished with a wedge of lime.
